University is about so much more than just your studies – it is your chance to find out more about yourself, have new experiences and make new friends.
Charity Hockey Tournament

Through extracurricular activities at Worcester, make the most of your time to get involved, get active, discover hidden talents, develop your skills and try things you might never have thought of before.

These groups are run by the Students' Union (SU) which is an independent organisation there to represent and support you. When you study on any course at the ºÚÁÏÍø you'll automatically become a member of the Worcester SU, and you can join any club or society you like. If you can't find an existing club or society to match your interests, it's easy to start your own.

Sports clubs

For those looking to compete at the highest levels of competitive sport, Worcester has many teams that compete nationally against other Universities as part of the BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) Leagues and Championships.  But there are also opportunities for recreational sport and chances for beginners to have a go.

The annual Varsity contest is one of the highlights of the sporting year, when sports team from the ºÚÁÏÍø compete against their counterparts at the University of Gloucestershire.
